Every once in a while, we get goosebumps and wet eyes from sheer joy when we see a beautiful ship. That was the case when we saw the boat for the first time. You have to look hard to find a boat as beautiful and well-crafted as this one. This is perhaps the world's most beautiful Molich X-meter.
The boat is the latest built X-meter. The hull and deck are cast in Stubbekøbing. The teak deck and some of the woodwork was done at Hundested Baadeværft (the old Molich shipyard). The boat is built with several reinforcements such as extra stringers - several bottom logs, longitudinal bulkhead / shelf which is glazed. Carbon fiber tracks are also added. Below deck, behind garnishes, everything is painted with two component Poly Best so no raw fiberglass. The keel (lead) is the new model that 4 boats sail with (there may be more.)
You can clearly see the quality craftsmanship that went into the construction of this boat. No compromises have been made in terms of choice of components and materials, here we can mention in abundance; Andersen winches - Seldén blocks - Ronstan lap wagons - Volvo Penta engine - Raymarine navigation package - Tystor charger - Eberspacher oil burner - Seldén rig (is slightly higher than standard. There are several boats that sail with this type, however, this one has a kite rig so that the genoa can be led to the top).
The boat is in perfect condition, has never raced and is ready to take over. Has always been winter stored indoors in a hall. If you are bitten by a crazy lover and want a beautiful sailboat, then you absolutely must see this boat.
