CNB 60 - BLUEWATER CRUISING, THE BORDEAUX WAY

Built by CNB, the Bordeaux yard known for its large offshore cruising yachts, this 2013 CNB 60 is aimed at crews who want genuine passage-making ability with owner-grade comfort. Eighteen metres of clear deck, three cabins, eight berths: the brief is long-distance voyaging with family or friends, without giving up the pleasure of the helm. Offered at €590,000 VAT paid.

Construction and sea-keeping

GRP hull, 18.38 m length, 5.18 m beam, 2.95 m draft and 27,000 kg displacement: the figures speak of a powerful, reassuring boat offshore. The rig is set up for short-handed sailing, with a fully battened in-mast mainsail, boom with lazy jacks, backstay, removable inner forestay, staysail, mainsail track and car, halyards led aft and winch handles to hand. The wardrobe includes a 2020 ONE SAILS 4T genoa, two North asymmetric spinnakers (heavy and medium) and a storm jib.

Power and life aboard

The 180 hp VOLVO D4-180, a four-cylinder seawater-cooled unit on shaft drive, shows 2,050 hours. She cruises at 8 knots for around 7 l/h and reaches 14 knots, with 999 L of diesel and 930 L of fresh water. Below, three cabins, eight berths and capacity for ten, a convertible saloon, a full galley with electric hob, 220 V oven, microwave (2025), two refrigerators, freezer, cool box and washing machine. On deck, a teak cockpit with table, cushions, bimini, sprayhood, deck shower, bathing platform and ladder.
