CATARUGA TORTUE 147 - THE ALUMINIUM EXPEDITION CATAMARAN READY FOR THE OPEN SEA

Launched in 2025, the TORTUE 147 from the CATARUGA SA yard is built for crews who want to sail far, for long periods and in full autonomy. Flying the English flag, this 14.70 m catamaran combines a rugged structure with an equipment level designed for genuine long-distance living aboard. Price: 770,000 € VAT not paid.

All-aluminium construction

Aluminium hull and deck, 14.70 m length, 7.85 m beam and 20,000 kg displacement: the TORTUE 147 has the credentials of a true expedition boat, at ease in high latitudes as well as in demanding anchorages. The rig is geared towards easy handling, with an in-mast furling mainsail, a self-tacking solent and an asymmetric spinnaker for downwind legs.

Power and autonomy

Twin YANMAR 4JH57 engines with shaft drive provide propulsion, cruising at 6 knots for 3 l/h and reaching 9 knots. Tankage matches the programme: 1,300 litres of fuel and 1,200 litres of fresh water, backed by a 100 L/h watermaker. Below, 3 cabins and 7 berths accommodate up to 9 people, with a full domestic fit-out supported by a lithium bank and 5,500 W of solar panels.
